01I. Acceptance and assent
By authenticating to E-MB Helper, the user signifies acceptance of the present Terms of Service and of the Privacy Policy appended thereto. A user not in agreement with the same shall refrain from authentication and from installation of the extension.
The present terms apply, without distinction, to the Chrome extension, to the administrative web application, and to any further instrument published by the operator under the appellation E-MB Helper.
02II. Account and credits
The account of the user shall be linked to the Google identity by which authentication is effected. One person to one account; no sharing of credentials shall be permitted.
Credits shall be consumed at the rate of one (1) credit per row of automation. One row = one credit. In the present version (1.0), credits shall not lapse by efflux of time. Upon registration, every new user shall be allotted one hundred (100) credits gratuitously, without obligation of payment instrument.
At any given time, the user may maintain not more than one (1) batch in flight. Premature termination of a batch shall procure the automatic restoration of unused credits to the balance of the user.
03III. Consideration and refund
Payments are processed through Razorpay. The operator vends prepaid credit-packs denominated in Indian Rupees. There shall be neither subscription, nor automatic renewal, nor recurring charge.
Upon credit being added to the balance pursuant to a successful payment, the transaction shall stand final. Refunds, if any, shall be effected through the chargeback window prescribed by Razorpay, at the discretion of the operator.
Where a row, during the course of automation, fails of completion, the credit pertaining thereto shall be reimbursed to the user's balance as part of the same transaction. The user shall stand discharged of any liability in respect of rows not so completed.
GST, where applicable, shall be included in the invoice. The price displayed at the moment of checkout shall be the price to be paid.
04IV. Permissible use
The helper shall be employed only for lawful measurement-entry workflows upon the supported portals of the Government. In particular, the user undertakes not to:
- abuse rate-limits, nor attempt to circumvent server-side enforcement of credits;
- reverse-engineer the extension for the purpose of bypassing payment;
- share the account, vend access thereto, or operate the helper on behalf of unrelated third parties save with their authorisation;
- employ the helper to file data which the user is not authorised to file upon the eMBook portal;
- submit measurement-entries which are false, misleading, or fabricated.
Any violation of the foregoing may attract immediate suspension, with forfeiture of the unused credit.
05V. Termination
The user may delete his account at any time, by means of the account page. Deletion shall effect soft-deletion immediately, and shall procure the permanent anonymisation of personal identifiers upon expiry of a grace period of thirty (30) days; within the said period, the account may be restored.
The operator may suspend or terminate any account found to be in breach of the present Terms. In the event of termination for breach, the unused credit shall stand forfeited.
06VI. Jurisdiction and applicable law
The present Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of India. All disputes arising hereunder shall lie within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ernakulam, Kerala, India.
E-MB Helper is an independent productivity tool. The operator is not affiliated with the Government of India, with any State Government, with the Public Works Department, nor with the operators of the eMBook or PRICE portals.
